A new pool has a first season
Fresh plaster cures, and the chemistry during that period is not the chemistry of a settled pool. Brushing schedule, pH and calcium all need handling differently in those first weeks, and getting it wrong shows up in the surface for the entire life of the pool. It is the cheapest time to get it right and the most expensive time to get it wrong.
