About UpNext

The owner is the one who shows up.

UpNext Pool Service is owner-operated, which is a phrase most companies use loosely and this one means literally. The person who quotes your pool is the person who services it, week after week, and the person answering when something goes wrong.

In his own words

Why I started UpNext

I started UpNext Pool Service after seeing the same problem throughout the pool industry: customers would hire a company, but the person servicing their pool constantly changed. That often led to inconsistent service, missed details, poor communication, and no real accountability. I knew there was a better way, one built around consistency, personal relationships, and taking genuine ownership of the work.

That's why UpNext was built around an owner-operator model. Instead of sending a revolving door of technicians, each pool is cared for by a dedicated professional who has a personal stake in providing excellent service. We learn your pool, notice changes before they become expensive problems, and communicate directly with you. Our goal is simple: provide dependable, knowledgeable service and treat every pool as if our own name were attached to it, because it is.

What owner-operated actually changes

Nobody new is learning your pool

A rotating technician sees your pool for the first time every few weeks. An owner who has serviced it since spring knows the surface, the equipment, how it behaves after rain, and what it looked like the last time the chemistry drifted. That history is most of the job and it does not survive turnover.

The incentives point the right way

A route tech is paid by the hour or by the stop, so speed is the thing being rewarded. An owner is paid by whether you stay, so the water holding up in August is the thing being rewarded. Same visit, opposite pressure.

There is no one to hand you off to

When something breaks there is no dispatcher, no ticket and no second appointment to book with a different department. You already have the number of the person who will fix it.

No contract holding it together

There is nothing locking you in, which means the service has to be worth keeping every single week. Pause or cancel whenever you want. That is a deliberate constraint, and it is the one that keeps the standard up.
